So, you want to know all about pitch side advertising boards?
How can I contact the club I’m interested in advertising with?
Easy – browse the list of clubs above and use the information we’ve provided to visit their website for more information, or get in touch directly via phone or email.
How much does it cost?
Advertising costs vary a great deal from the top end of sport to the lower leagues. That said, advertising at the the smaller clubs is affordable even in the top divisions. For instance, crowd-facing boards at Bournemouth is available from as little as £950 + VAT for the season. In the Championship, perimeter boards at Cardiff City cost as little as £43 per game.
How much does it cost to get the boards made up?
There are plenty of good board printers in the UK, with materials from Dibond (composite aluminium) and Foamex (plastic, but less robust and requiring a wooden backboard).
Is this what people mean when they talk about “football ads” and “football adverts”?
Yes and no. Pitch side or football advertising boards are perhaps the best recognised form of marketing in sport, but they’re not the only option. Many clubs will also have advertising space available in their matchday programmes and elsewhere too.
What about other sports and national stadiums?
It’s certainly possible to use advertising boards in cricket and other sports. More information on that, and advertising at national stadiums, is coming soon.
Pitchside is part of the Falbros Media Group.
